Andrew Hill, 82, of Benton, died Saturday, Aug. 30, 2008, in Benton.
He was born June 13, 1926, in Bryant to Harold August and Elsie Helmich Hill.
Mr. Hill was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and a longtime employee of Jones Lumber Co.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Irene Hill; and two brothers, Irvin Hill and Elmer Hill.
Survivors include three sons, Phil Hill and wife Hazel of Charlotte, N.C., Greg Hill and Tony Hill, both of Benton; a daughter, Cheryl Hill of Benton; two grandchildren, Jennifer Campbell and husband Richard of Fayetteville and Jay Hill of Benton; a sister, Laura Hinze of Benton; a brother, Len Hill of Avilla; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Funeral service is scheduled for 10 a.m. today at Zion Lutheran Church with the Rev. Don McDougall officiating. Burial will follow in Avilla Cemetery in the Avilla community.
Visitation was from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
