Dorothy Faye Halpain, 73, of Alexander died Thursday, Oct. 2, 2008.
She was born Oct. 9, 1934, in Saline County to John and Rosie Lee Williams.
Mrs. Halpain was a former employee of Alcoa and a homemaker. She attended Light House Baptist Church on Salt Creek Road in Benton.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a grandson, Jeramie Bumgardner.
Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Troyce Thelbert Halpain; two sons, Gary Dale Halpain and wife Debbie and Jerry Don Halpain; three daughters, Lida Faye Allen and husband Tom, Karen Jane Bumgardner and husband Randy and Patty Lee Halpain and husband Bruce; three brothers, Johnnie, Hubert and Boyce Williams; four sisters, Wanda Reynolds, Jean House, Joyce Beasley and Sarah Arthur; 11 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Ashby Funeral Home. Burial will be in Pipkin Cemetery. The Rev. Morgan Flagler will officiate.
Pallbearers are grandsons Tommy Hamilton, Keith Isom, Matt Tackett, Brandon Riggins, Jerry Halpain Jr., Kenny Long, Michael Shellnut, James Phillips, James Ward and Farris Hensley.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Ashby Funeral Home in Benton.
Memorials may be made to Light House Baptist Church.
