Mrs. Jones grew up on a farm in Brush Creek in Grant County, Ark. As a child, she learned to play the piano. She and her sisters would walk to school every day, which was two and half miles away. The couple ran the station for 10 years. In 1953, the couple decided to build a second Texaco service station. Subsequently, they developed K Mobile Home Park Community at the Pulaski and Saline County line with very little money and not much help. Special thanks for the help of their sons, Mike and Garry Jones and son-in-law, Terry Steed, for their efforts over the past years to help make it a great success.
