John Aurthur ‘John John’ Ballard E-mail
Friday, 26 June 2009

John Aurthur “John John” Ballard, 40, of Little Rock, drummer for the Jamestown Flood Band, passed away from injuries sustained from an ATV accident.
He is the son of Louis and Alyene Ballard, both deceased.
John was loved by many people.
He is survived by his brother, Louis “Tody” Ballard and wife Lynn and four children. John also had several children, Holly, Craig and John Jr.
John had just been recently married to Nicole Marie Ballard. John was very happy. They shared two children, Alexa and Noah. John had a brother, Jim, who was laid to rest recently. He is survived by sisters, Jeanette, Janice, Mary Ann, Linda, Janet, Leona May, Shelia, and his sister Lois who is deceased.
John was also in the “Jamestown Flood Band.” His legacy will live on in his music. John had recently recorded a CD with his band JTF called ‘Flood Zone.’ He played all the percussion work. He also was a guitarist unknown to a lot of people who knew him. He was a lover of friends and nature. John had been with his love of music till the day he went to be with parents Louis and Alyene. John has shared the stage with many famous artists and great local artists. His music has been on TV, radio and clubs all over the country. He can still be heard on radio all over the world as we speak.  He was a member of ABATE. He loved motorcycles. He had owned several bikes in his life. John has two grandbabies he never knew from his son Craig’s fiancée and daughter Holly. John died a hero in saving the life of his new stepdaughter, Alexa. Alexa was on the fourwheeler when the tragic event unfolded. John was going around a curve when something spooked him, John went to the side of the road and caught a ditch embankment. In his quick thinking he threw Alexa clear off the asphalt. He tried to regain control of the heavy ATV and when he entered the pavement he over negotiated the ATV. It flipped and threw him to the ground face down. The ATV then fell over onto him, fatally crushing him.
