Pauline E. ‘Polly’ Hamilton E-mail

Pauline E. “Polly” Hamilton, 90, of Benton, died Thursday, July 2, 2009, at Saline Memorial Hospice House in Bryant. 
She was born Jan. 19, 1919, in Hensley to Henry and Herdie Lawhorn Mashburn. 
Mrs. Hamilton was a former employee of Douglas Aircraft, she taught school in Surinam, she was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Little Rock-Benton wards, she was a lifetime member of the Order of the Eastern Star, she was a member of Arkansas Archeology Society and she was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, W.B. (William) Hamilton.
Survivors include a daughter, Phyllis Lenz of Bonnerdale; a son, W.H. Hamilton of Oregon; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at 9 a.m. Sunday at Roller-Ballard Funeral Home with the Rev. Joe Campbell officiating. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery at the East End community.
Visitation will be from 5:30 to 7:30  p.m. today at the funeral home.
