Jackie Edmonson, 9, of Benton climbs the “Top Notch” wall at Family Fest in Bryant on Saturday. It was Bryant’s 11th annual celebration marking the Fourth of July, and it began Friday and continued throughout the day Saturday, culminating in an enormous fireworks display Saturday after dark. Though crowds were a bit sparse early in the day Saturday — the heat was intense, after all — things picked up as the day went on, and festival-goers enjoyed live entertainment by the likes of Mr. Happy, Kris Meyer, Bushdog and local favorites Tragikly White.
