Ida Bell Hannah, age 87, of Benton, Ark., died Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2010 at Heritage Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Hot Springs. She was born on Oct. 16, 1922, in White County, Ark., to Charles Edward Hannah and Velma Corbit Gillham. Ida was a veteran of the Women’s Army Corps and helped build B-17s during World War II. She is preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Della Anderson and Mary Jay; and two brothers, Clarence and Ronald Gene Hannah. Survivors include one son, Rodney Bowers (Donna) of Lonsdale, Ark.; one sister, Charlene Bulloch of Port Richey, Fla.: three brothers, Brooks Hannah of Port Orange, Fla., Jesse Hannah of Fayetteville, Ark., and J. L. Hannah of Searcy, Ark.; three grandchildren, Stephanie Mohr (Michael) of Benton, Ark., Paige Bowers of Conway, Ark., and Benjamin Bowers of Benton, Ark. Services will be private.
