Paula E. Scoggins, 75, of Bryant passed away Wednesday, June 2, 2010. She was born July 8, 1934, in Jester, Okla. Mrs. Scoggins was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Bryant and the Bryant Study Club. She was preceded in death by her father, Charlie Cotton; and mother, Jettie Cotton Walker. She is survived by her husband, Jerry Scoggins of Bryant; two daughters, Melissa Santiago and husband Frank of Cabot and Celest Pritchett and husband Jack of Bryant; five grandchildren, Andrea Clark and husband John of Bryant, Elizabeth “Libby” Pritchett of Conway, Jared Santiago, James Santiago and John Santiago, all of Cabot; special nephew, Mark Walker of Porterville, Calif.; two brothers; and one sister. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the First United Methodist Church in Bryant with burial at the Arkansas Veteran’s Cemetery in North Little Rock.
