The fair queen pageant and youth talent competition took place Saturday night at the Benton Senior Activity Center. Lewis will represent Saline County at the district and state fair queen pageants. The Saline County Fair kicks off Tuesday, Sept. 4, with a parade through Downtown Benton starting at 6 p.m. The fair will continue through Saturday, Sept. 8, at the fairgrounds in Benton.
