EDITORIAL: Lambert honored E-mail

She’s been a teacher for 24 years in school districts small, large and in between. She currently is an eighth-grade history teacher at Bryant Middle School.
Monday night, Tamra Lambert was honored for her years of service and dedication to her profession and her students by being named Teacher of the Year for 2007-08 in the Bryant School District.
Congratulations to Lambert, who was chosen from among 10 nominees for the district award.
She also has taught in the Arkadelphia, Beebe, Searcy, Hot Springs and Dallas school districts.
Congratulations also to the other nine nominees: India Childress, Hurricane Creek Elementary; Jerrye McGinty, Davis Elementary; Michelle Alverio, Springhill Elementary; Donna Taylor, Paron Elementary; Tamara Jacobs, Bryant Elementary; Tara Armstrong, Collegeville Elementary; Amie Horn, Salem Elementary; Tracie Moon, Bethel Middle School; and David Seal, Bryant Middle School.
