W. Keith Jackson

W. Keith Jackson, 62, passed on Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2013. He was born Dec. 2, 1950, in Artesia, N.M.
He grew up in Jal, N.M., and graduated from Jal High School. He graduated from Southwestern Assembly of God University, and received a master's degree at Pensacola Christian.
He was an associate pastor at The Church at Rock Creek. He served as the high school principal at Arkansas Baptist High School from 2000 to 2003, and served as a Christian school administrator for 24 years.
Keith was preceded in death by his father, J.D. Jackson.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Dianne Jackson; a daughter, Juliet Stevens; a son-in-Law, William Stevens; a granddaughter, Mackynzie Mitchell; his mother, Jerry Jackson of Jal, N.M.; a brother, Kenneth Jackson of Midlothian, Texas; a sister, Bobbie Stearmer of Hobbs, N.M.; and many friends and family who loved him dearly.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 5, at the Church at Rock Creek, 11500 W. 36th St. in Little Rock.
Arrangements are by Smith Family Funeral Home, Benton Chapel. For information, call 501-778-7100.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today, Oct. 4, at the Church at Rock Creek.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Rock Creek Children’s Home or The Celebrate Recovery Ministry at the Church at Rock Creek, 11500 W. 36th St., Little Rock, AR 72211.
