Wanda Jean Parks

Wanda Jean Parks, 85, of Haskell-Benton, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 13.  She was born Sept. 1, 1926, in Little Rock.  Mrs. Parks was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Harmony Missionary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Nick and Louella Mandrel; her husband, William Henry Parks Sr.; and a daughter, Carolyn Parks. 
She is survived by her four sons, William Henry Parks Jr. and wife Geneva of Tull, James David Parks of Haskell, Michael Eugene Parks and wife Cathy of Benton and John Alan Parks and wife Denise of Malvern; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec.16, at Ashby Funeral Home with the Rev. Ben Palmer officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Cemetery. 
Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec.15, at the funeral home. 
Memorials may be made to Mt. Harmony Missionary Baptist Church, 245 Mt. Harmony Drive, Benton, AR  72015.
