Wanda 'Sue' Hendrix McCallister

Wanda “Sue” Hendrix McCallister, 77, of Benton passed away Thursday, April 10, 2014.
She was born Jan. 2, 1937, in Benton to Wade and Ruby Hendrix.
Sue was a member of Forest Hills Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family. Her grandchildren were her greatest joy.
She is survived by her loving husband, Marvin F. McCallister; two daughters, Judy Cotton and husband Bill and Brenda Finley and husband Greg; one son, Bobby McCallister and wife Starla; a sister, Willie Wallace and husband George; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews as well as many other family members and friends who loved her dearly and will miss her always.
Sue was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Marvin D. McCallister; and a brother, Bobby Joe Hendrix.
Funeral service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Monday, April 14, at Smith Family Funeral Home, 322 N. Market St., Benton. The Rev. Mark Blakely will be officiating.
Burial will be at Lee Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Mark Wallace, Lynn McCallister, Glynn McCallister, Eric McCallister, Andy McCallister and Larry Buggar.
Honorary pallbearers are Gary Wallace, Chris Speights, Larry Bowen, Lance Landers and Jerrel McCallister.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
