William C. Vaughan Sr.

William C. Vaughan Sr., age 84, of Alexander passed away Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013.  He was born March 14, 1928, in Texas. 
Mr. Vaughan was a self-employed mechanic and served in the U.S. Navy. 
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Dorothy Vaughan and his wife, Beulah Vaughan.
He is survived by two sons, Billy Vaughan and John Vaughan and wife Shirley, all of Alexander; a brother, Ray Vaughan of Little Rock; a sister, Jewell Gottsponer of Maumelle; and two grandchildren, Jeremy Vaughan and wife Heather and Melanie Johnson and husband Jason.
Graveside service is scheduled for noon Tuesday, Jan. 29, at Pinecrest Memorial Park.
Visitation is set from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 28, at Ashby Funeral Home.
