William Fred Cheek Sr.

William Fred Cheek Sr. of Ferndale passed away Sunday, Jan. 26, 2014. He was born Aug. 19, 1945, to the late Henry and Emmer Cheek.
William was the owner and operator of Cheek Enterprises for more than 35 years. He served in the U.S. Army and was a member of Masonic Lodge 309 of Paron.
He was preceded in death by his parents and several brothers and sisters.
William is survived by his wife, Donna Cheek of Ferndale; three sons; William Fred Cheek Jr., and wife Alza of Beebe, Michael Joseph Cheek and wife Patricia of Walls, Miss., and Patrick Noel Cheek and wife Kathie of Walls, Miss.; six grandchildren; Kelly, Kim, Wendy, Jamie, Trenton and Tanner; two great-grandchildren, Elise and Brandon; two sisters, Bonnie Elliott of Fairview, Tenn., and Carole Titus of Little Rock; and one brother, JC Padgett of Denver, Colo. .
Funeral service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 31, in the chapel of Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, 13801 Chenal Parkway in Little Rock, with Pastor Nathan Rogers officiating.
Visitation is set from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 30, 2014, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Spring Valley Cemetery in Ferndale.
