William Persinger

William Persinger, 91, of Little Rock passed away Wednesday, Aug. 15.
He was born on Feb. 14, 1921, in Lewellen, Neb., to Jack and Eva Persinger. William was a World War II Army veteran, serving served two years in the Aleutian Islands. He was a Journeymen plumber and was affiliated wit Plumbers and Pipe fitters Local 155.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers John, Harold, Clarence, Everett and Delbert; and a sister, Pearl; his wife, Hazel Bryant Persinger; a son, William Glen II; and s grandson, William Glen III.  
He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Pat and Frank Baptist; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Graveside service is scheduled for 1 p.m. Monday, Aug. 20, at Forest Hills Cemetery with the Rev. Bill Ferguson officiating. Ashby Funeral Home is in charage of arrangements.
