William T. Bundy

William Tom "Bill" Bundy, 90, passed away Nov. 11, in Montgomery Texas. He was born April 22, 1921 in Hope.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Goldie and Sid Bundy of Benton; and a brother, Charles Bundy of Willisville.
After graduation from Hope High School, he attended Arkansas State Teachers College on a football scholarship and received a degree from Henderson State University. He was a self-employed oil and gas distributor.
His interests centered around his church and family.
He is survived by Frances Bonner Bundy, his wife of 70 years; three sons, Tom Bundy and wife Jean of Bossier Parish, La., Charles Bundy and wife Beth of Lebanon, Tenn., and Richard Bundy and wife Barbara of Montgomery, Texas; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. today at Klein Funeral Home, 14711 FM 1488, Magnolia, Texas. A memorial service will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial be made to First United Methodist Church of Benton, where Mr. and Mrs. Bundy were active for many years before moving from this area.
