Korbin Spencer Rielly

Korbin Spencer Rielly, infant son of Ryan and Melissa Rielly, passed away on Nov. 20, 2014.  He was born Nov. 20, 2014 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock. 
He is survived by his parents, Ryan and Melissa Whittecar Rielly of Benton; grandparents, Stacy and Billy Price of Alexander; Robert and Patricia Whittecar of Benton; great-grandmother, Cleva Rielly; and numerous aunts and uncles.
Memorial services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 29 with Paul Doherty officiating at Ashby Funeral Home

Coyla Jeannette Boston

Coyla Jeannette Boston, 87, of Bryant, devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away Nov. 21, 2014. She was born in York County, Nebraska to Chauncey and Lydia Klone Brooke.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Bill N. Boston and her son, Dale Boston.
She is survived by her daughter, Jolene Gilmore and husband, Brian; son, Greg Boston and wife, Sandy; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Her services will be 10 a.m., Friday, Nov. 28 at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.).

Richard Steven Teal

Richard Steven Teal, 58, of Alexander, died Sunday, Nov. 23, 2014 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock. 
He was born Aug. 10, 1956 in Benton.  He worked for Smith Fiberglass in Little Rock. He was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Benton and the Riverside Hunting Club.
Rich was an avid outdoorsman and loved music and playing his guitar.  He was dedicated to his family and his lake house, and his grandson was his world.
His father, Troy Lewis Teal preceded him in death.

Herbert Earl "H.E." Pitts

November 25, 2014

Herbert Earl "H.E." Pitts, of Traskwood, was born May 25, 1938, to his parents in Little Rock, and died Nov. 20, 2014, in Little Rock at the age of 76.
He was a sheet metal worker, a Navy veteran, and a member of Mountain Home Freewill Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Ollie and Leona Jones Pitts.

Gerald White

November 24, 2014

Gerald White, 78, of Benton, passed away Sunday, November 23, 2014.  He was born April 17, 1936 in Moberly, Missouri to the late Denver and Marie White.  He retired from Timex as a custom service manager.  Mr. White was a member of New Bethel Church of Christ and attended Highway Church of Christ. 
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Denny White.

Johnny Lynn Cooper Sr.

Johnny Lynn Cooper Sr., 50, of Traskwood, passed away Saturday, November 22 at SMH Hospice House in Bryant, after a 6 ½ year battle with cancer.  He was born February 24, 1964 in Malvern, to Gerry White Cooper and the late Muriel Cooper of Traskwood. 
Johnny is preceded in death by his father and his grandparents:  Arnold and Launa Cooper, Tommie and Susie White and Evelyn White.

Jimmie Louie Doss

Jimmie Louie Doss, 81 of Benton passed away Nov. 20, 2014, in Benton.  He was born Aug. 23, 1933, in Garland City, AR, to the late Louie Morgan and Agness (McMahon) Doss.
He was the self-employed owner of Doss Moving & Storage Co., attended Indian Springs Baptist Church and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
Jimmie and Annie met on a blind date in 1952, the same year that he joined the Air Force. They married two years later with $38 between the two of them.

Steven Hall Thomas

November 24, 2014

Steven Hall Thomas, 61, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2014.
Steve was born Jan. 10, 1953, in Little Rock and grew up in Benton.
Steve was an active volunteer for more than 16 years for St. Vincent’s Hospice and Baptist Hospice, and was an advocate for HIV/AIDS care.
Steve’s motto was “Volunteer in an area that touches your heart."

Christine G. Bell

November 21, 2014

Christine G. Bell, 76, of Benton passed away November 19, 2014 in Little Rock. She was born on June 17, 1938 in Vilonia; and she was the daughter of William Mose Barnard and Mary LeNore Covell.
Mrs. Bell was a manager for Red Cross and Central Arkansas Development Council for eight years.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her siblings Betty, Bonnie and Bill; and a daughter, Ruth Mary.

Dorothy G. Patterson

November 21, 2014

Mrs. Dorothy G. Patterson, 91, of Fayetteville, died Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2014. She was born Sept. 12, 1923, in Illiopolis, Ill., to the late Jesse and Mae Garren.
She served in active duty in the U.S. Navy as an air traffic control tower operator from 1945 to 1946.
She graduated from the University of Illinois with a Bachelor of Science degree in applied science (Class of 1944) and from the Alabama Polytechnic Institute (Auburn University) with a Bachelor of Science in Education (Class of 1949).
