The Lady Beavers held a 9-0 lead Tuesday going into the fifth inning against Bismarck, but allowed the Lady Lions to rally back and win 12-9.
Senior Tiffany Houpt pitched all seven innings for Glen Rose, earning the loss.
"Tiffany had some control issues," Glen Rose head coach Kyle Lem said.
While giving up the 12 runs, Houpt allowed 10 hits and nine walks. She had five strikeouts on the night.
"Being up nine runs, we have to score those runs in the bottom of the fourth and put the game out of reach," Lem said.
After the fourth inning, the Lady Beavers only recorded three hits.
Bismarck scored three runs in the fifth inning, four in the sixth and five in the seventh.
"We had two outs in the sixth and seventh, and failed to get out of the inning," Lem said.
Glen Rose sophomore Kylie Shepherd had three hits, including a triple. Houpt, along with fellow seniors Hollie Boles and Katie Peterson, each had two hits apiece.
