Nicholas Blake O’Rear, 18, of Benton passed away April 10, 2011.
He was born Jan. 13, 1993, in Walker County, Ala.
Nicholas attended Bauxite High School and was a Black Belt in Taekwondo. He loved being with his son, family and friends.
Nicholas was preceded in death by his grandmother, Mary Ruth Sharitt.
Survivors include a son, Carson O’Rear of Bauxite; his mother, Cindy O’Rear of Benton; brother, Mickey O’Rear and wife Sunshine and son, Mathew of Mississippi; sister, Kayla Kilpatrick of Benton; grandparents, Raymond O’Rear and Ricky Sharitt of Alabama and Sharon O’Rear of Mississippi; great-aunts, Janice Dorrough of Alabama and Carlene Smith of Mississippi; and cousins, Jennifer Ferguson and Timothy Bailey of Mississippi.
Cremation was through Ashby Funeral Home of Benton.
Memorial service will be held by family at 2 p.m. Sunday at Bible Fellowship Church on McCallon Road in Jasper, Ala.
