Harold Paul White, 72, of Benton, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 25. He was born Feb. 22, 1939, in Scott.
Mr. White was a U.S. Navy veteran and a maintenance supervisor at Alcoa, Reynolds and Central Arkansas Library Systems in Little Rock, where he retired. He was a member and deacon of Trinity Baptist Church in Benton. He was a member of the Twirling Lariats of Little Rock and the Star Promenaders of Bauxite.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Maurine Benbrook; and a son, Jeffrey Allan White.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Loretta White; a daughter, Shannon Wray and husband Hank; two sons, Greg White and wife Denise and Jerry White and fiancée Shirlee; grandchildren, Leighton, Landon and Lindley White, Ashley Cross, Dalton, Lauren and Faith Wray; great-grandchildren, Lucas and Lily White and Hunter Cross; a brother, Charles Benbrook and wife, Tammy; and a sister, Dian Helton and husband Jim.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 28, at Ashby Funeral Home with the Revs. Mike Titsworth and Terry Burruss officiating. Burial will follow at New Rosemont Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 27, at Ashby Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Trinity Baptist Church Building Fund, American Parkinson’s Association or the American Heart Association.
