
John A. “Johnny” Walker, 71, of Mayflower, formerly of North Little Rock, passed away Nov. 12. He was born to the late Albert and Willene Moring Walker.
He was a management supervisor for Timex Manufacturing where he retired after 25 years of service. He was also a financial consultant.
Johnny was also a U.S. Navy veteran, a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and a member of the Moose Lodge.
He is survived by four sons, Tony (R.J.) Walker, Reggie Walker, Michael Walker and Mark Walker; a special friend and caretaker, Brenda Walker Shaw; a daughter-in-law, Peggy Walker; 14 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, J.K. Walker.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 22, in the North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m., Tuesday, at the funeral home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170.
