Jean Wallace Propst, 82, of Lonsdale passed away Sunday, Jan. 1. She was born Oct. 29, 1929, in Navarro County, Texas.
Mrs. Propst retired from Jacuzzi Bros. as a machine operator.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Genevieve Besson Wallace; her husband, Paul “Lucky” Propst; a daughter, Alicia Keltner; a brother, Jack Wallace Sr.; and a grandson, Josh Seamon.
She is survived by a son, John Paul Propst of Lonsdale; two daughters, Vicki Dorsch and husband Jim of Benton and Christena Baugh and husband Charles of Tull; five grandchildren, Dawn Brown, Ronnie Cummings, Amy Richmond, Jimmy Dorsch and John Paul Propst II; three great-grandchildren, Bradley Brown, Bella Cummings and Landon Cummings; a nephew, Jack Wallace Jr.; and a niece, Katie Wallace.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 4, at Gravel Hill Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Gravel Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 3, at Ashby Funeral Home.
