Roy D. Stewart of Benton died September 2, 2012. He was born September 4, 1926 to Cecil Stewart and Sylvia Wampfler. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Larry Morrison.
He is survived by his wife Wanda Stuart Stewart; son Mike Stewart and wife Cheryl, daughter, Michele Burrow. Six grandchildren, Shannon and husband Thad Pickard, St. Augustine, Florida; Megan and husband Colorado Barnard, Aaron Stewart, Jacob Burrow, Lauren Stewart, and Bent Burrow, all of Benton; three great-grandchildren, Hudson and Henley Barnard and Kale Pickard, several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Monday, September 3, 2012 at the Ashby Funeral Home form 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
Funeral services will be Tuesday September 4, at 2:30 PM at the Ashby Funeral Home Chapel with Wallace Alexander officiating. Interment will follow at the Pine Crest Cemetery in the Mausoleum Section.
