Mary Ruth Dunn Harrison, 66, of Alexander went home to be with Jesus on Feb. 9. She was born in Hampton to William Angus and Lillian Biggers. Mary worked for Pinecrest Memorial Park for 30 years. She was the voice of Pinecrest that everyone loved to hear. Mary had a giving heart and spirit, always thinking of others above herself. She enjoyed flowers and was blessed with a green thumb, possessing the ability to grow amazing gardens. She treasured the time she spent as a mother, aunt and sister. The time she was RooRoo to her grandson Bryce Allan was, by far, her happiest time. She will be dearly missed by everyone she touched.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, W.A. Biggers, Jr.; and her sister, Betty Jo Thompson.
She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter Melissa Inmon and husband Brandon, along with grandson Bryce Allan Inmon, all of Alexander; her brother, Bob T. Biggers and his wife Linda of Hampton; sister Marty Green and husband Bill of Bonner Springs, Kan.; her special niece, Sherry Henson of Alexander; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family. She also leaves her Pinecrest family, whom she cherished and who will miss her dearly.
Funeral service is scheduled for 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 13, in the chapel at Griffin Leggett Forest Hills Funeral Home, with her nephew, the Rev. Bobby Biggers and the Rev. Ron Byrd officiating. Burial will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Eric Eidson, Ronnie Mayall, Allen Diggs, Kenneth McCoy, Kenneth Kohler and Adam Greenwood.
