Richard Leon Brewer, 72, of Haskell went home to his heavenly father on Nov. 5, 2013.
He was born Aug. 10, 1941, to H. V. and Lucille Brewer.
He was preceded in death by his father, H.V. Brewer; his brother, Aubrey Brewer; his daughter, Debbie Herring; a stepson. Robert Brazil; his aunt, Lena Ramsey; and his father-in-law, Gerald Scott.
He is survived by his wife, Connie; a daughter, Tamera Mitchell; his mother, Lucille Brewer; a sister, Diane Lyman and husband Joey; a brother, Harvey and wife Kathy; two stepdaughters, Breanna Baker and Jackie Patrick; a stepson, Steven Brazil; and his mother-in-law, Meda Scott, all of whom reside in the Benton area. He also had 15 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Richard was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be greatly missed.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 8, at Roller-Ballard Funeral Home (315-4047) with Brother Steve Cypert officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Harmony Cemetery in Haskell.
Serving as pallbearers are Ty Bowman, Colby Bukosky, Jonathan Lyman, Rodney Lyman, Michael Baker and Aaron Brewer. Steven Brazil will serve as honorary pallbearer.
Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m., immediately preceding the funeral, at the funeral home.
