Kenneth "Ken" Prince, 68, of Benton passed away Nov. 27, 2013, after a long battle with Alzheimer's Disease.
He was taken gently into Heaven with his loving family by his side.
He was born Sept. 15, 1945, to J.R. and Dorothy Rayburn Prince in Newark, Ark. He graduated in 1962 from Benton High School. After business school, he was a successful business man.
Ken was a member of Parkview United Methodist Church. He was a loving and devoted husband and father. He was preceded in death by his son, Todd Prince; his brother, Ronnie Prince; and his parents.
He is survived by his wife and best friend of 25 years, Susan Sharp Prince; his daughters, Kelley Newcomb (Scott) and Jodi Vittitow; his stepchildren, Rhonda Cooper and Ron Oliver; his sisters, Joyce Morrison, Mary Kohler (Jim), Annette Nutt (John),and Kathy Ballard (Ronnie); his much-loved mother-in-law, Dee Sharp; nine beautiful grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and his devoted, furry companion, Buffy.
A celebration of life open house will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 7, at 3310 Frendall in Benton. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Saline Memorial Hospice House in Bryant.
