Roy "Wayne" Hall, 69, of Benton passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2014. He was born Sept. 9, 1944, in Benton to the late Roy C. and Sybil Arthur Hall.
Mr. Hall was a retired operations supervisor with Kruse Meats and a member of Old Union Baptist Church. He served in the U.S. Army and was a Vietnam veteran.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by one son, Stephen Wayne Hall; and one granddaughter, Erin Merritt.
He is survived by his wife, Diania E. Hall of Benton; a daughter, Stephani Huchingson (Lowell) of Benton; a son, Roger Hall (Shana) of Benton; two sisters, Wanda Johnson of Hot Springs and Phyllis Frances (Rick) of Perryville; three brothers, William Hall (Marilyn) of Perryville, Herbert Hall (Rita) of Paron, and David Hall (Jennifer) of Paron; seven grandchildren, Shelly Jones, Nathan Hall, Mathew Hall, Bailey Hall, Brayden Hall, Ada Huchingson and Leah Huchingson; two great-grandchildren, Hunter Merritt and Kash Jones; other family members and many friends.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 22, in the chapel of Roller-Ballard Funeral Home (315-4047) with Brother Ray Owen officiating.
Burial will follow in Old Union Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are Lorne Johnson, Kevin Johnson, Warren Hall, Nathan Hall, Billy Tray Jones, Billy Kerr, David Hall and Lowell Huchingson.
Honorary pallbearers are Michael Hall and Mathew Hall.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today, March 21, at the funeral home.
