The race helps provide AEDs in the community as well as peer recovery services.

Runners take off at the start of the Beat Goes On 5K at Saline Memorial Hospital. The race raised funds for the Saline Health Foundation to help put automated external defibrillators in places that need them in Saline County and to provide peer recovery services.
