Family Church, located at 21815 Interstate 30 in Bryant, will serve as a drop-off point for flood relief supplies for Harvey victims until Friday.

The church is partnering with Neighborly Love Texas Flood Relief Aid, which also is collecting supplies in Jonesboro and Conway. The different locations are each filling trailers with supplies that have been requested by different Red Cross shelters in the flooded areas.

Local trucking company JHTI is providing the trailer for supplies.

Pam Hollingshead, organizer for the Bryant collection site, said the church is looking for personal hygiene items, hand sanitizer, socks, paper towels, adult and baby diapers, baby wipes, feminine hygiene items, water, disinfectant wipes, wash clothes, towels and more.

Volunteers will be at the church from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. each day through Friday. On Wednesday, volunteers will be collecting items at the church until 7 p.m.

Supplies are expected to be delivered Saturday.
Hollingshead said it is important for the people of Saline County to send supplies because it shows the victims the community is here for them.

She added it is a good opportunity for people who want to help but aren’t sure how.
