Heather Michelle Adams Chandler

Heather Michelle Adams Chandler, 35 of Magnolia, formerly of Benton, passed away on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at Baptist Health in Little Rock.
Heather fought a battle with a rare appendix cancer for five years.  On her quest for remission, her medical journey took her to MD Anderson in Houston; Wake Forest Baptist Hospital in Winston Salem, North Carolina; the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; UAMS and Baptist Health in Little Rock.  She remained optimistic despite the medical prognosis.  She had a Relay for Life team called Heather's Hope.  Annually during the Christmas holidays, Heather collected donations to buy toys for children at Arkansas Children's Hospital.  She would personally deliver the toys to the hospital even though she did not have the strength.   Her determination was relentless.
She was born on August 12, 1978 in Magnolia.  She graduated in 1996 from Magnolia High School, completed Cosmetology School, and was a member of Central Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents Joe Peyton and Mary Ernestine (Wyatt) Adams; grandfather Denton Charles Cook; her grandparents-in-law, Curtis and Hester Chandler, Charles A. and Jeanne (Kenworthy) Milton; and an uncle Gary Wayne Adams.
Heather is survived by her husband Kyle Chandler; son Braden Waller; daughter Madeline Chandler; her parents, Darrel and Rhonda Adams; Kyle’s parents, Larry and Laurie Chandler; grandmother, Erlene Cheatham and husband Bill all of Magnolia.  Heather is also survived by her aunts and uncles, Tana Lovell and husband Bill of Longview, Texas, Rusty Adams and wife Candy of Magnolia; cousins, Haley Lawrence and Malerie Lovell of Longview, and Shane Adams of Magnolia and Josh Adams of Fayetteville; as well as a host of brothers and sisters in law, nieces, nephews, and many friends.
