The combined probable and confirmed new cases of COVID-19 increased less than 1,000, according to the Arkansas Department of Health. 

Confirmed new cases rose by 582 to 228,410 with 12,921 active and 211,684 recoveries. 

Probable cases went up by 54 to 56,292 with 4,871 active and 50,545 recoveries. 

Confirmed deaths rose by 20 to 3,778 and probable deaths went up by 24 to 872. 

Hospitalizations increased by four to 1,084 with 187 on ventilators. 

The state received results for 6,486 PCR tests and 357 antigen tests. 

The counties with the most new cases are Pulaski with 138, Washington with 69, Benton with 66, Craighead with 33 and Jefferson with 29. 

Saline County has had 9,927 cumulative cases — 7,548 confirmed and 2,379 probable. Active cases are at 685 — 481 confirmed and 204 probable. There have been 6,946 recoveries — 6,946 confirmed and 2,154 probable. The county has had 140 deaths — 119 confirmed and 21 probable. 

Nationally, there have been 25,253,671 cases with 420,747  deaths.
