The Bryant Hornets hit the road to North Little Rock to face the Charging Wildcats in a battle of the unbeatens tonight. The winner will likely claim the 7A Central Conference championship. 

The Benton Lady Panthers would not get to make the 5A State Tournament final for the second year in a row, falling 3-1 to the Jonesboro Lady Hurricane in the semifinals of the 5A State Tournament at Greenwood High School.

The Bryant Hornets (6-0, 3-0) showed no rust at all Friday after being forced to take a bye in Week 6 due to COVID-19 making its way into the Little Rock Central School District.

Winning their third straight game to open conference, a 30-20 win over Parkview on the road at War Memorial Stadium last week, the Benton Panthers return home to host the Mountain Home Bombers for homecoming tonight at Panther Stadium. 

After getting an unscheduled bye week last week when the Central Tigers had to cancel due to COVID-19, the Bryant Hornets will travel to Little Rock to face the Southwest Gryphons in 7A Central Conference play tonight.

The Bryant Fr. Hornets pitched their fourth shutout of the season Thursday, downing El Dorado in nonconference play at Hornet Stadium in Bryant. Bryant blew out the Fr. Wildcats 40-0 on Thursday to stay perfect on the season.

The Benton Panthers will host the Siloam Springs Panthers Friday at Panther Stadium. There will be no walk-up sales at the game. Tickets can be purchased at Big Red located at 620 Military Road until game time, which is 7 p.m. Friday. Price is $5. 

The Harmony Grove Cardinals (0-4, 0-1) have had a tough go at nearly every game this season. Coming out of nonconference action winless, the Cardinals now face possibly the toughest conference in the state in the 7-4A.
